This lesson addresses the standard "Explain that everybody can do science, invent things, and have scientific ideas no matter where they live". In the lesson students are first introduced to the three kinds of science - earth & space, physical, and life. Within these kinds of science students are introduced to careers that use that type of science. There are then examples of inventions that we have today because of science. A few famous scientists are also introduced in this lesson along with a brief description of what they are famous for inventing. The lesson ends with a link to and pictures of different science experiments that can be done in the classroom.
