Many states have adopted curriculum standards for art. Art projects present an opportunity for students to express their thoughts and feelings about current topics. This 10 day lesson utilizes the work of Alejandro Santiago to show students another perspective on immigration. Students will use clay to create a representation of a memory or something they've lost. Each student's work will be unique and no two will look alike.
