Growing Girls Scouting Helpers

Juniors find out about the wild animals that live around their homes and communities by taking a short survey and then completing engaging draw-and-write animal fact sheets. Afterward, girls share their work and newfound knowledge with troopmates.

The animal fact sheets include nine common forest animals found across America and information specific to the habitats in which they live. The nine animals represented are: box turtle, deer, fox, owl, rabbit, raccoon, skunk, snake, and squirrel.
