This is a matching game for students to pair the flower petal instruments to the correct flower! There are 7 petals per flower for a total of 28 petals per packet. It takes about 3 minutes to introduce the game, then split the students up into groups of 2 or 3, depending how many packets you make. I give them about 10 minutes to use the resources in my room and their knowledge to assign the flower petals to the appropriate flower. I grouped the petals so that (if you use 7 different colors for the petals like I did) there are no 2 petals of the same color to a flower. I love this activity and look forward to it every year! I even had Kinder boys today tell me that this was their favorite activity so far!!
