PBS’s Wild Kratts wear “creature power suits,” which allow them to transform into other animals. The suit has mechanical parts but also changes the body of the person wearing it. Students how a person’s arm would change and how this change helps three animals use their forelimbs. Students select from bird, horse, elephant, bat, and whale. The real value in this resource is the answer key. Answer key includes diagrams, descriptions of differences, and analyses of the purposes of those differences. Links are also included for a human/bird/bat coloring book and (elusive) information on whale forelimb anatomy. Coded for Virginia 2010 Biology SOLs.
