These Wild West themed ten frame cards will be sure to get your little buckaroos excited! They are great for Texas Independence Day, a western theme or just for fun! They can be used for centers or small groups. Simply print them out, laminate them and cut them apart. (There are two cards to a sheet).
Students can either use a dry erase marker (or crayon!) or manipulatives to complete each card. Some fun western manipulatives are star shapes (sheriff badges!), brown pom-pom "tumbleweeds", cactus or boot shaped erasers, toothpick pieces for cactus needles, pipe cleaners shaped into horseshoes, and more! I also included some small sheriff badge squares you can cut out and use!
These cards help students practice place value, counting, recognizing ten and more, and one-to-one correspondence.
