Product Description
This is a long-form critical thinking activity. Students engage in problem-based learning using a scenario drawn from the public policy issues surrounding wildfires in Oregon. In the process, they consider the current state of the problem and research a perspective, draft a ballot measure proposing a solution, write an editorial analyzing a ballot measure about the situation, and finally, think like a voter and make a decision about one of the measures. Students will engage in peer review and collaboration as well as following their own questions.
