This product was designed with word-work in mind. Students can copy and then alphabetize SIX different spelling words in the top row. Then, using either dice or spinners, they copy the word they “rolled”. The first column complete gets 1st place. After that, they can continue to roll to find a 2nd or 3rd place, or you can have them put the dice away and just fill in the remaining columns. Differentiate by having students identify the part of speech for the words in the first row. To mix it up, once students have a winning word you can let them circle the column, or draw a star around the first word in the column and then when they go to put the dice away have them grab a colorful marker to finish filling in the rest of the page. Being able to choose a marker is super incentivizing!
Laminate them or place in pocket protectors if you want to eliminate the need for copying. I like to copy mine double-sided and have students turn them in after both sides are complete.
