Are you looking for a Halloween themed activity for practicing half notes?
This game is for projecting onto your whiteboard or Smartboard.
This is a fun way to play the poison rhythm game with your students. They will practice their rhythm reading skills whilst avoiding the dreaded Winny the Witch's poison rhythm. Instead of clapping the rhythmic patterns your students could also play the patterns on classroom percussion instruments such as drums or rhythm sticks.
Directions on how to play this game are included.
Rhythms used in this game are: ta (quarter note), ti-ti (paired eighth notes), ta rest (quarter rest) and ti-ka-ti-ka (sixteenth notes).
All rhythms are written using stick notation with noteheads.
This product is included as part of a 4 game bundle to practice the following concepts: ta and ti-ti, ta rest, ta-a and ti-ka-ti-ka.
Thank you for looking.
