Winston of Churchill is a fabulous book by Jean Davies Okimoto (ISBN-10: 0989429105, ISBN-13: 9780989429108) about the polar bears in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. Global warming and the concern of rapidly melting ice brings forward the polar bear’s fearless leader, Winston, who rounds up the bear community to educate them on the facts of global warming and identify what people need to do, as well as stop doing, in order to prevent further warming of the earth and the melting of the ice.
