This zip file includes both my 2 digit and 3 digit place value practice worksheets. Both files include the following types of pages in each:
- 4 pages of writing 4 forms (standard, expanded, picture, and word)
- 2 pages of identifying the value of the underlined digit
- 2 pages of 1 more, 1 less, 10 more, 10 less
- 2 pages of drawing hundreds, tens, and ones
Both the 2 digit and 3 digit files include lots of coloring potential and contain an I Can statement on each page. The worksheets cover Common Core Math Standards in 1st and 2nd grade. It could also be used as a review for 3rd graders.
1st Grade Common Core:
1.NBT.A.1 Count to 120, starting at any number less than 120. In this range, read and write numerals and represent a number of objects with a written numeral.
1.NBT.B.2 Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones.
2nd Grade Common Core:
2.NBT.A.1 Understand that the three digits of a three-digit number represent amounts of hundreds, tens, and ones; e.g., 706 equals 7 hundreds, 0 tens, and 6 ones.
2.NBT.A.3 Read and write numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
