Product Description
Writing and craft activities to do throughout the Winter season! These fun activities are great as last minute fillers, morning work, or projects to proudly hang in the hall!

Activities Included:

♥Pages 3-12: Acrostic Poems in both black and white and color (words include: snow and winter)

♥Pages 13- 14: Alphabetical Order Worksheets. There are two different levels provided. Students will either cut and paste four words into ABC order, or write them from a bigger list.

♥Page 15- Snapshot of my snow day. Students can fill out this page upon returning to school after a snow day. They will write/draw about what they did during their day off, who they saw, what their favorite part was, and where they went.

♥Pages 16-19: Making Words Worksheets with answer keys. Students will cut apart the words (snowman and winter), scramble the letters, and try to form as many new words as possible.

♥Pages 20-21: Sentence Scramble Worksheets. There are two different levels of this sheet provided. Students will either cut and paste a simple sentence in the correct order, and draw a picture of it OR write the sentence in the correct order and then pick one to add more detail to. The sentences for the first worksheet are: 1. I gave the snowman a carrot nose. 2. It started to snow, so I got a hat. The sentences for the second worksheet are: 1. I made a snowman. 2. The snow was cold.

♥Pages 22- 23: "They Said What?"Two worksheets where students can fill in word bubbles to create their own mini stories/comic strips.

♥Pages 24-35: "How To" Worksheets. A brainstorming page is included along with the following topics; build a snowman, stay warm in the winter, make hot chocolate, and decorate a gingerbread man. Two different writing line styles are provided for each topic (one with sentence starters of "first", "next", and "last". There is a blank gingerbread template for students to decorate, as well as final "How To" writing papers.

♥Pages 36-44:Point of View Writing. Students will decide if they want to write a story as the gingerbread man, or the baker. There are organizers provided, along with final copy papers (a gingerbread template with lines, and a bakers hat with lines).

♥Pages 45-49: Snowflake Activity. Students will make a snowflake “craftivity” by filling out the pages about themselves and putting it together. This activity is meant to show the students that we are all unique just like each snowflake.

♥Pages 50-56: Snowman Writing Activity. Students will write a story about a snowman that came to life. There is an organizer provided, along with a snowman writing template for the final product (with two different line styles, a hat and two arms).
