Winter Themed Articulation Spot the Difference Activities

What’s Included:
Each Sound/Sound Set included 2 visual scenes with an answer key & word list.
The sounds include: (2) Prevocalic R, Vocalic R, & R- Blends, (1) S & S- Blends, (1) S/Z & S- Blends, (2) TH, CH, & SH, (2) L & L- Blends, (2) F/V, and (2) K/G.

Suggestions:
- Print and laminate or use sheet protectors for repeated use.
- Have your students try to find all of the differences in the bottom visual while practicing their good speech sounds.
- Use the word lists and answer keys to continue practicing target sounds and verify answers.
- This product could also be a NO PRINT activity! You can use this on a tablet, computer, or Smart Board. (It is a PDF, so Adobe Acrobat/Viewer (free) may be required to open the product). The slide will not advance if the student clicks or points to their selection! This is great when having the student select the pictures that they think are different.

Other Goals to Incorporate:
- Describing – Have the student describe what is different without using the target word.
- Compare & Contrast – Identify similarities and differences among the visuals.
- Grammar – Have the students use grammatically correct sentences to describe what is different.
- Categorization – Have the students identify which visuals are specifically winter themed and which are not.
- Basic Concepts/Spatial Terms – Have students use these terms and concepts when describing the differences.
- Following Directions - After your student finds all of the differences, use the visuals for following directions. You can tell them to point to various things while incorporating temporal, spatial, descriptive, or quantitative terms.
