Every teacher needs "bell work" for their students in the morning. Many of us use Daily Oral Language and/ or Math Practice, but it is difficult when we have to write the sentences on the board each morning. This file will help!!
This file includes a week's worth of daily language and math review slides. You can project a slide each morning and you have "ready-to-use", no copying needed, practice for your students on important basic skills.
In addition, an answer slide is also included for each slide. After students have completed the assignment, you can simply click to the next slide for students to check their work!!!
This set of 10 ready-to-use slides focuses on important skills covered in the third grade curriculum, although this file might be appropriate for 2nd, 4th, or 5th grade classrooms as well.
Language skills include the following:
Capitalization at the beginning of sentences, capitalization of proper nouns, ending punctuation, contractions, possessives, commas, commas in a series, commas in dates and place names, common versus proper nouns, homophones, subjects and predicates.
Math skills include the following: comparing numbers (greater than or less than), writing numbers in expanded form, writing numbers in standard form, 3-digit addition with and without regrouping, 3-digit subtraction and without regrouping, and basic multiplication facts.
The topics of the sentences focus on a winter theme, including snow, penguins, and Martin Luther King Day.
I hope you find this file beneficial for your students's learning and a HUGE timesaver for yourself!!!
