Snowball Fight is a fun and interactive winter emergent reader that your beginning readers will love! The simple, predictable text focuses on the number words one through ten.

On each page with a number word, students are to draw that amount of snowballs in the bucket. They can simply use a crayon or marker to do this, or they can cut small round circles out of cardstock and glue on as snowballs.

Another idea is to use a small marshmallow or small round object and stamp snowballs on with white paint. An equal mixture of liquid glue and shaving cream makes puffy paint which would be a fun alternative as well!
