Description

Snowball Fight is a fun and interactive winter emergent reader that your beginning readers will love! The simple, predictable text focuses on the number words one through ten. This reader now comes with a digital version in Google Slides, too!

Print Version:

On each page with a number word, students draw that amount of snowballs on the page. They simply use a pencil or marker to make them.

Digital Version:

Students drag and drop snowballs from the right to match the amount on each page. Once all pages are complete, students click on “PRESENT” to read the book full screen.

Note: There is a link to the Google Slides digital version within this pdf file. When you click on the link, it will ask you to make a copy of the file in your Google Drive account. Once you make a copy and save it, you can assign the file to your students.

This emergent reader is part of my Snow and Snowman Unit for K-1. The week-long unit contains detailed lesson plans just for you! It covers how snow is made, why snowflakes are unique and much more. Click on the link to read more about it!
