Do you have students have difficulty keeping busy during independent reading time in your classroom or needs assistance with vocabulary and question comprehension, or even needs to stay focused during therapy sessions? These winter interactive books can do just that for student.
Three books are included in this resource which include "Let's Make a Snowman" where the child can actually help build the snowman. The second book is "Fun in the Snow" which focuses on things you can do in the snow like skiing or making a snow angel. The last book focuses on winter clothes to wear and the reason we wear them.
Interactive books can be adapted for a variety of students by having him/her name pictures, answer questions, point to parts, matching pictures and more. Once the book is completed, pictures can be placed back on the base page by reviewing the vocabulary or pictures.
These interactive books are easy to assemble. Copy on card stock, laminate, cut out and add velcro to the squares and to the base pictures. Loop velcro is added to the individual interactive pictures. Punch holes in the side of the book and add book rings.
Many other sets of interactive books are available in my store. Check them out for books to use throughout the year.
