Description
My students love to solve puzzles. They don't even realize they are learning new skills or practicing critical thinking when they are so engaged!
This set of 5 WINTER theme LOGIC puzzles includes three levels of difficulty for differentiating instruction, or for teaching logic problem solving as a new skill.
Each puzzle comes with a solving grid and table for summarizing the answers. Solutions included.
Great puzzles to challenge gifted younger students, or to work on problem solving with older students who have trouble with critical thinking.
I use the three medium level puzzles with my 9th and 10th grade students and they find them fairly easy to finish in 5-7 minutes each. A very challenging 5x5 puzzle is included. This puzzle took some of my brightest 9th and 10th graders about 20 minutes to work through.
Fun, cheerful themes for both boys and girls. Adorable graphics from www.thistlegirldesigns.com brighten the pages.
