Winter Literacy Beginning Sounds Game Cards
This is a fun, engaging, and hands-on way to teach kids about beginning sounds. This hands-on activity is a great way for kids to begin developing their phonic skill. This activity will help the students to mastering letter and name all upper and lowercase letters of the alphabet as well as phonics and word recognition skill.
This unit contains 26 pages of beginning sounds letter matching activity. There are 4 images per pages for every letter. There are 5 images in total per page including the Letter (Aa-Zz). Every letter was written in Uppercase and lowercase. Every image comes with a B&W snowflakes clip art and color beginning sounds image.
Your students will love the routine of this activity and their confidence will grow. This pack provides your students to master first sounds through the game. The aim of this activity is for children to practice first sounds recognition by matching the pictures with the letters. You can use these cards for a memory game, wall/ classroom decoration, literacy center/activity, sensory bin and more.
There are so many ways to implement these activities, whole group, small group, or in literacy centers.

Direction for Teachers & Students
To prepare this unit for use, print the sheets in white card stock, laminate for durability and cut along the dashed lines to separate them. Place in a zip-lock bag or a file folder. There are some ways to play this game:
