Celebrate winter and the freezing temperatures with this fun and adorable 55 page literacy unit.
These wonderful winter activities go along with the terrific book, “The Five Dog Night” by Eileen Christelow.
This book is a favorite of mine and my students. This is a perfect book to read when it is freezing cold outside, the activities are all important common core skills needed.
Included in this unit are worksheets that focus on characters, comprehension, story elements, sequencing, making connections, writing sentences correctly and similes.
-Cause and Effect activity that can be used in a center, whole group or both.
-Below Zero class book to make.
-Sounds that you can flip learning the two oo-sounds and the two ow-sounds. Pocket chart sorting activity and worksheets to reinforce concept.
