Your students will LOVE this writing activity! A student will write a postcard from one "character" to another from the character’s point of view.
You can use these in so many ways in my classroom. They can be used as creative writing lessons, center activities, etc. You could add various requirements to incorporate other parts of the curriculum as well. Ideas might be using vocabulary or spelling words, comma rules, similes, metaphors, idioms, alliteration, four types of sentences, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Students always enjoy designing the stamps, making up the addresses, and adding extra decoration as well. The finished products make a fun bulletin board display as well!
There are 26 postcards included. Each one has a "reply" postcard to provide for the option of students working in cooperative pairs.
