I made a packet of worksheets that can be used to teach, practice, reinforce, or enrich some of the common focus skills for first grade. The standard is listed at the bottom of each page, and there are two pages of each kind. You will find:
Plenty of Penguins (x2) - Students count the penguins they see, are given the TOTAL number of penguins, and have to figure our how many penguins are inside each igloo based on the information given.
Polar Problems (x2) - Students are given 3 numbers to put in order from least to greatest on one page and greatest to least on the other page.
Snowballs & Coal Addition Sentences (x2) - Using snowballs and coal on Rekenreks the students will create addition sentences to match the amounts shown.
Winter <, >, = (x2) - Students will write the correct symbol to fit in each equation.
Snowy & Chilly Addtion on a Tens Frame (x2) - Students will be given an addition equation to SHOW on a set of 2 tens frames and then they will write the sum.
Before and After Numbers - (1) This page has numbers in columns down the middle where students write the number that comes BEFORE and AFTER in the blanks on either side.
Find the Greater Numbers (1) - There are snowballs in each square with a number in it. There are 6 other numbers that students will use to find numbers GREATER than the numbers in the snowballs.
Find the Smallest Number (1) - Same kind of worksheet as the one with greater numbers, but the students are looking for number LESS than the numbers in the snowballs.
Fill in the Missing Numbers (2) - Pages with 6 sets of 5 blanks with only one numeral given where students have to fill in all the missing numbers on either side.
Winter Wear & Sweet Treat Number Puzzles (2) - These pages have cut out pieces of a 120 chart for students to demonstrate knowledge of the numbers that fill in the blanks. (Shows 1 more, 1 less, 10 more, and 10 less in a fun way)!
I really hope that you will be able to find all or some of these activity sheets helpful in your classroom and would LOVE to hear your feedback! Thanks so much for stopping by!
