Description

Need a fun Winter Math Craft activity to get your students working on Place Value during the month of January? This Place Value Snowman and Hot Chocolate craft is an easy way to have students review the different forms of a number, even or odd and much more. It would be perfect to display as a Winter bulletin board in January or to have first or second grade students working on it during morning work, math centers or as an early finisher activity!

Included are several different options to differentiate this math craft:

  • Different Number Options- Included are options for 2 digit, 3 digit and 4 digit numbers. This is a great way to differentiate this math craft to fit your students' needs.
  • Different Craft Options- There are two different winter math craft options!

There are different options for you to be able to choose what best fits your students! Both will be fun for students!

Included:

  • Snowman Different Forms of a Number- Students will create a snowman using a two digit, three digit or four digit number. They will build the snowman using the different forms of a number like expanded form, standard form, word form, even or odd etc.
  • Hot Chocolate Base Ten Blocks- Students will create a two digit, three digit or four digit number with base 10 blocks on their cup of hot chocolate.

The best part? Your students will have fun making a snowman or hot chocolate during the winter season while they are reviewing place value! Also this math craft is LOW PREP so you can just PRINT AND GO!
