I use this collection of winter counting games for my January math centers. They help my students with developing skills related to identifying and counting numbers up to 100.
Included in this packet:
-ordering teen number sequences on snowflakes (each row of snowflakes can be placed in a bag labeled with a letter (A-F); doubles of each row are provided)
-counting objects in ten frames
-snowmen number cards for #1-50 (I laminated, cut, and placed these in bins filled with cotton balls for students to use.)
-Race to 100 dice game
-mystery bags (to be used with lunch bags filled with different groups of objects in different quantities)
-game board "Reading a Hundreds Chart" (project onto a whiteboard)...Use dice to follow the snowballs and to answer the question cards to get to the finish line!
