Due to popularity, this resource is modeled after my Fall Comparison pack with new mats focused on winter skills!
In this save your ink resource, no prep set, you'll get various comparison, representing, addition, and subtraction mats that feature graphics for winter. Images include: Snow, Trees, Mittens, Mugs, Cookies, and Chocolate Boxes.
Suggested Parings: Dice, Deck of Cards, or a Spinner of Choice.
You will need an expo or other classroom manipulatives for students to use per mat in order to complete the activity properly. Suggested materials: cotton balls for snow, marshmallows, Target $1 erasers, poms for tree decor or any other classroom materials.
Each Section includes at least one different mat for December, Jan, and February.
Comparison Mats: 6 Styles
Addition Mats: 6 Styles
Representing Mats: 4 Styles (Place Value Focus) (Snow Focus)

There are also 4 recording sheets to hold students accountable for showing their work when using the mats. The mats include: circling greater than/less #s, completing addition/subtraction sentences, and representing up to 12 on a 10 frame.
