PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The focus of these activities is on the comparison of numbers that first grade students (particularly ELL students) often confuse. We don't know about you, but we spend a lot of time in first grade helping students recognize the difference between "the teens and the tens". In other words, though students might pronounce "14' and "40" the same way, they are, in fact, different numbers!

In these 7 pages, students will distinguish between numbers represented by Base 10 Blocks, ten frames, grouped symbols, and written numerals.

* Valuable practice for English Language Learners
* Valuable review for first and second graders
