Students will count and compare numbers within 100 using Base 10 Blocks
Students will build, count, and write numbers using tens & ones, then compare them to the number in the matching mitten.
*We have alternated the tens/ones order, so that students have to distinguish between the "tens" and "ones". In other words, "tens" don't always come first!
* We have chosen specific numbers in our comparisons that students often confuse.
* After both numbers in the mitten pairs are composed, students choose the greater (or equal) number to color.
