Spin Tally & Graph
Teach students how to use a paper clip and a pencil as a spinner. Spin the spinner a total of 20 times. Each time a student spins, they color in a number box to keep track of how many times they spin. Each spin, make a tally mark in the tally chart next to the picture spun. Circle the picture that gets the most spins. Then, use the data from the tally chart to complete the graph.
Race to 20
Print the dice on cardstock, laminate & assemble. Print the 20 frames on cardstock & laminate.. Students will roll the dice and roll that many ‘snowballs’ out of Playdoh to place on the 20 frame. Play continues until someone fills their 20 frame! (If you do not want to use Playdoh, a different math manipulative can be used!)
