This is a no-prep pack of printables designed to help first graders review math and literacy targets. Pages can be printed and used immediately or sent home as homework!

Singular and plural noun scarves- color by the code for kinds of nouns

CVC Snowballs- cut and paste the medial CVC sounds

Winter Verbs- write the correct verb to complete the sentences

Winter ABC order- abc order with groups of 4 words (with picture clues)

Snowflake syllables- color by the code to identify the number of syllables

Roll and read (2 pages)- roll a die and read the sight words, tally the rolls (sight words from primer and 1st grade lists)

Hot Chocolate Digraphs- color by the code to identify the beginning digraph

Snowflake Synonyms- match the synonym pairs, use two in sentences

Snowflake Antonyms- match the antonym pairs, use two in sentences

Sight word frames (2 pages)- match the sight word to the word frame, uses words from the primer list

Snowflake blends- cut and paste the s-blends to complete the words

CVCC/CCVC words- identify the picture, circle the vowel

Silent e Words- identify the picture, circle the long vowel

Compound words- use the picture clues to build compound words

Super Winter Sentences (2 pages)- write super sentences to go with the pictures

Hot Chocolate How-to- Use the picture clues to write a how-to about making hot chocolate

Do you want to build a snowman?- Use the picture clues to write a how-to about building a snowman

Watch Out!- short story with two multiple choice questions and one short answer question

Tim's Snowman- short story with two multiple choice questions and one short answer question

Fantasy or reality Mittens- identify fantasy and reality statements, write your own fantasy and reality statements

Problem and Solution- identify possible solutions to problems, write your own problem and solution

Fall Sentence Scramble- unscramble the words to write a sentence

Fall Sentence Scramble 2- unscramble the words to cut and paste a sentence

Fall punctuation- identify the correct punctuation for the sentences

Design and Describe: Snowman- design a snowman, use adjectives to describe it

Design and Describe: Penguin- design a penguin, use adjectives to describe it

Making words (3 pages)- making words activities for the words: wintertime, snowflakes, ice skating

Color by the Code: Sight Words- (2 pages)- color the pictures by the sight word code (hot cocoa stand scene and ice skating kids)

Sight Word Snowflakes- students color the sight words by the code, then graph them

Winter Patterns 1- cut and paste the pictures to complete the patterns

Winter Patterns 2- color the pictures to create patterns (AB, ABA, ABC, ABBC)

True or False Equations- identify whether an equation is true or false

Making 10- students write equations to match the snowflakes in the tens frames

Time to the hour- identify the time shown on analog clocks

Counting Strip Scarves- complete the counting strips (counting to 60)

Counting Cups- students fill in the missing numbers (counting up to 60)

Skip-counting Cups- students fill in the missing numbers (skip-counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's)

Place Value: Tens and Ones: cut and paste the tens and ones to match the numbers

Place Value Blocks- color the tens and ones to match the number

Missing Part Penguins- determine which number completes the equations (addition and subtraction)

Snowflake Addition- complete the addition equations

Snowflake Subtraction- complete the subtraction equations

Dot Addition- add with dice and numbers

Dot Subtraction- subtract with dice and numbers

Counting Coins- color the coins to match the price tag

Ordering Numbers- put the numbers in order from least to greatest or from greatest to least

Comparing Numbers- use symbols to compare numbers

Number Mittens- students write the number words to match the numbers on the mittens (11-20)

Winter Story Problems (2 pages)- read and solve the story problems (2 addition and 2 subtraction)

Winter Combinations (2 pages)- find as many combinations of a number as you can

Falling shapes 1- color by the code for circles, triangles, squares, and rectangles

Falling shapes 2- color by the code for circles, triangles, squares, rectangles, trapezoids, and rhombuses

2D Shapes- cut and paste the 2D shapes to match the descriptions

Winter Fractions- color one half or one fourth of a group of objects

Roll and Graph a snowman- roll a die and graph according to the key

Snowflake Graphing - count and graph the pictures, answer the questions

Roll and Color (3 pages)- roll 3 dice, find the sum, then color that part of the picture (snowboarder, sledding girl, winter boy and girl)

Hundreds Chart Mystery Picture (2 pages)- color the hundreds chart by the code to find the mystery picture (mitten and cocoa cup)

Winter Story- complete the picture and write a story to go with it

Writing Prompts (6 pages)-
Two different prompts:
What do you like to do on snowy days?
What is your favorite part of Winter?
- 3 different publishing options for each
