This cloze activity asks students to fill in the missing words in the basic paragraph about the Winter Olympics. It can be completed in two ways, first students cut and stick the correct answer, or second, students write the correct answer. The second option also includes an extra question to extend students.
This differentiation allows for students working at different levels to complete appropriate tasks on the same activity.
This task was made for a high school special education class, and can be used with a variety of ages/stages, especially the early years.
This activity would also be great for a relief teacher to use, as it requires very little preparation, and can be used in conjunction with many books or videos.
