This is an easy-to-use, winter themed game for assessing how well your young and older students can recognize instruments by sight. It reinforces the four families of instruments (woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion) and the names for the individual instruments. This is a Smart Notebook file.
*There is another version of this game without the winter theme. You can click the following link to go to that product: Name That Instrument Orchestra Game - Original Smart Notebook Version
My kids love this game because every correct answer earns a snowball for their penguin. When they get the answer wrong, the picture shows them rolling down the hill trapped in a giant snowball. When they get an answer incorrect, you can click on the linked text to try again.
1. Each page has links for the correct and incorrect answers, so the game can easily be played by kids, teachers, and substitutes with little fuss;
2. Beautiful, color pictures of each instrument;
3. Instructions for how to use the game (included in preview);
4. This makes a great assessment tool and can also be an easy sub plan in a pinch.
