Target the phonological process of fronting with 20 initial /k/ pairs, 20 final /k/ pairs, 16 initial /g/ pairs, and 16 final /g/ pairs.
To play: Each student receives an “engine” for their train. In order to collect cars to make their train, they must say their /k/ and /g/ words correctly. The therapist provides a student with both pictures in the minimal pair. The student states the card that they want to add to their train and receives the card they say. Therefore, if they say a word incorrectly (e.g. say the minimal pair word instead of the target word), they notice the difference in their production/meaning of the word.
