This is a perfect activity for your pocket chart in the Winter months. Students will arrange the sentence in the pocket chart in the correct order, ( or you may have it already in the correct order and students only place the correct ending to the verb) and place the correct -s or -es ending to the verb in the sentence. The sentences have been made to allow for differentiation. Make them as easy or as difficult as you need for your group of students. Each sentence has a unique picture to help keep the sentences sorted. I have included 2 different recording sheets as well as an answer key for student self checking.
The sentences are:
*The girl push (es) her brown sled.
*My friend dress (es) in a warm stocking cap.
*Chad build (s) a snow fort.
*Mom match (es) my purple mittens for me.
*Whit walk (s) his dog around the block in the snow.
*Our friend fix (es) smores for us to eat.
*Rick fill (s) his bucket with lots of snowballs.
