Make learning fun with this winter-themed STEM activity!
Students love completing this winter themed STEM challenge! Students receive a letter from the STEM snowman that the kids in their neighborhood are having a snowball fight. In order to win, the snowball fight they will need to build a catapult to launch snowballs using only the materials provided. This is an excellent engaging activities for students to work on during the winter months!
This activity helps students develop critical thinking and engineering skills. Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas. After they have completed their activity, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't.
