Product Description
Winter Sentence Matching

Students can practice reading and pairing sentences with this winter themed game! Students can place the CVC word card on the sentence card with the corresponding picture. When this card is added, students will have created a four word sentence that they can read and record. These cards can be turned into a fluency strip bundle by ringing the strips on a binder ring and adding velcro to the pieces so that they can stick together.

These cards are great for emergent readers because each sentence starts with one of six sentence stems. In addition, students who are not ready to read a full sentence can focus on matching the picture to the CVC word. There are so many ways to modify this game so that students at every reading level in your classroom can participate!
