Description

This is a set of 5 winter-themed sentence scrambles for your students to practice building and reading complete sentences. Each of the sentences is made up of 8 word cards. All of the cards from each sentence feature the same wintry picture. All sentences could be shortened by removing a few words -- for example, "I want to make a huge snow fort" could be shortened to "I make a snow fort" to support the needs of struggling readers. Sentences are suitable for students in first or second grade.

I have also included a recording sheet, with writing grids for students to write all 5 sentences next to their corresponding pictures, and a space for students to illustrate one of the sentences.
