This CVC word building game comes with 4 sets of game boards. The game can be played at different levels. Players can play with the same game board or to make the game more challenging, each player can use a different game board.

To begin each player places their game marker on the first snowflake picture and uses the snowball letters to build the first snowflake word on their game board. Then first player spins the spinner. If player lands on change a letter, player names the picture on the next snowflake and selects the snowball letter needed to make the new word. If players is able to make the new word by changing one letter then player moves their game marker to that snowflake picture. (Place the letters not needed back into the pile of snowball letters.) If player lands on snowball fight, player doesn't move and passes the spinner to the next player. The next player follows the same directions. Game continues until someone reaches the last snowflake on their game board.
Level 2: (The spinner is not needed for this version.) To begin each player places their game marker on the first snowflake picture and uses the snowball letters to build the first snowflake word on their game board. Place the rest of the needed letters in a bag. First player names the next snowflake picture on their game board and identifies the letter needed to make the new word. Then player picks a snowball letter out of the bag. If it is the letter needed, player makes the new word and moves their game marker to the next snowflake. If it is not the letter needed, then player places the snowball letter back into the bag and passes the bag to the next player. Also included is a recording sheet.
