Understanding prepositions is vital to success in a school environment.
They are used in every aspect of the school day.
Many students on our caseloads have a very hard time grasping the ambiguity and non-literal aspects of prepositions. We say “go to your desk” “sit at your desk” “ sit in your seat” and “ sit on your chair” all to mean the same thing.
Needless to say, some of our students have been trying to grasp prepositions for years…. and I wanted a set of worksheets that reinforced these concepts but also “looked different “ each week and taught some seasonally appropriate vocabulary..so I created this product for my own students and decided to share it with others who must be having the same thoughts.
