The winter games are coming to Beijing, China in 2022! These digital and print elementary sports research graphic organizers are great for getting your students engaged and excited about this global event. In these Winter Games activities, students will research and learn about all 15 sports or a sport of their choice featured in the 2022 Winter Games. These graphic organizers can be used as an assignment or a note-taking tool for a presentation or essay about each sport.
Each graphic organizer includes space for information related to:
- Basic description of the sport
- Equipment
- History of when & where it was invented
- When it was first added to the Games
- Countries with the most medals
- Famous athletes who play(ed) the sport
The graphic organizers come in both print and digital form. The print version also comes in two formats, one with clip art and one without. I also included the blank version in case you wanted to have your students draw or find their own image to represent the sport they choose to research. I also included a blank version of the graphic organizer in case your students want to research a winter sport that was not included.
