Target a variety of social skills with this packet that includes: 24 cards that encourage students to appropriately obtain additional information in a situation, 24 body language cards, 24 cards that encourage students to provide enough but not too much information to answer a question, 24 problem solving cards, and 24 inference cards.
Obtaining Information (p. 3-8): Students take turns drawing cards that
require them to put themselves into various situations and appropriately
ask for additional information in each situation.
Body Language (p. 9-14): Students take turns drawing body language cards. Then, the student reads the situation and must use their face and body to show what they would look like in the given situation.
Providing Information (p. 15-20): Students take turns drawing cards that require them to provide enough, but not too much information to answer the question and/or respond to the statement.
Problem Solving (p. 21-26): Students take turns drawing problem solving cards and stating both the problem, as well as a possible solution to the problem.
Inferences (p. 27-32): Students take turns drawing inference cards and using their previous knowledge, as well as clues from the situation to answer the question on the card.
