Use these five winter surveys to bring some seasonal joy into your classroom while your kiddos use data to convert fractions, decimals, and percents and create pie graphs!
Included are five winter surveys with five choices each. The survey topics are winter sports, winter treats, blizzard activities, Arctic animals, and winter weather phenomena.
Survey the whole class and have all the students use the same data for the same topic, or give students the choice of survey to use and let them interview a certain number of classmates. Either way, winter fun is guaranteed to show up in your classroom. I have yet to meet a student who does not enjoy a survey activity! Also, this makes a beautiful and easy bulletin board if you need to put up a winter display!
I found that my students initially needed assistance with estimating how big each section should be when they were making the pie graph, so I divided the circle into tenths. For this product, all five surveys come with the circle divided into tenths, eighths, fourths, and a whole, so you can decide which best fits your students' needs (you can also differentiate for students requiring modifications).
Included in your 22-page download:

2-6) Five surveys (circle divided in tenths)
7-11) Same five survey questions (circle divided in eighths)
12-16) Same five survey questions (circle divided in fourths)
