This craftivity is a quick, easy and fun way to practice a variety of standards.
Practice upper or lowercase letters, numbers to 20 or 31, plus skip counting by 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s.
Simply choose the snowman that's appropriate for your kiddos and print the patterns.
Children cut and glue their snowman's head together.
Poke a hole in the center and attach a carrot "nose" to the center with a brass brad. This acts as a pointer
I hang the number 31 snowman in our calendar center, so that we can countdown the days of January, as we practice counting backwards.
I use the upper and lowercase letter snowmen, as a fun way to whole-group assess.
"Snowy's Nose" by Kelly Asbury, is a sweet book to read before or after this craft.
I'm Diane from Teach With Me, wishing you a brrrrr-illiant winter.
