Product Description
Winter Theme: Draw & Cover Sight Words are perfect for Pre-K to 2nd grade. There are four levels of play. The blue cards are pre-primer words for matching one-to-one correspondence. The gray cards are primer words cards for matching one-to-one correspondence. The white cards the students have to unscramble the pre-primer word and then match using one-to-one correspondence. The green cards the students have to unscramble the primer word and then match using one-to-one correspondence.

Choose which set of cards is appropriate for you students’ learning level. Place the cards face down on the mat and have student take turns drawing a card. If the student correctly identifies and matches the card to their playing mat have the student over their square with a cotton ball for snow or any other small object.

The packet contains the following:
• (2) Different Pre-Primer Winter Themed Mats
• (3) Different Primer Winter Themed Mats
• (36) Pre-Primer Word Cards
• (54) Primer Word Cards
• (36) Pre-Primer Words find the correct spelling
• (54) Primer Words find the correct spelling
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: I included the pre-primer words: three, where, yellow with the primer words because of the way the squares worked out on the mats. Also, the scrambled words are made by switching the first and last letter of each word when possible. For example, did wouldn’t work so I used ddi.

Directions: It is suggested to print all pieces on card stock and laminate for durability. Cut the individual cards apart on the solid black line. I store the cards in a ziploc bag and the game boards in an expandable file folder.
