Students practice their number writing skills from 0 -20 in this winter themed activity. There are 2 sets: Snowmen and Penguins.
It is differentiated. In one, students write their numbers on their own from 0-20. In the other, they trace the numbers, though they are out of order.
(This activity has helped one of my "extreme case "students go from not being able to write his numbers at all, to being able to write half of them. All of my other students are meeting and exceeding in this skill area. I believe it to be the repeated, fun practice that this kind of activity has to offer, that has aided my students in attaining and retaining this skill.)
I typically use this as a math center or morning work.
