These task cards are designed for second grade but could be used as a review for third grade. These task cards include a variety of questions at multiple skill levels.

• punctuation
• capitalization of first word in a sentence and proper nouns
• contractions
• commas in a series
• correct spelling of sight words
• pronouns
• subject and verb agreement
• plural vs singular nouns
• apostrophe to show possession

Students will rewrite the sentence correctly on the recording sheet. I would suggest having them highlight the mistakes they corrected to make it easier for them (and you) to see what they’ve done.
