Winter is finally here, and Jack Frost is probably nipping at your nose. Well, join the club. However, have fun reviewing grammar using this quick and easy scoot game.
This game has 10 scoot cards. Each card contains a sentence. The sentence may or may not contain an error in capitalization, punctuation, spelling, or grammatical usage. Students are to identify these errors. You can have the students correct the errors after the game is over or as a part of the game. However, if you opt to have them make corrections, the students will need extra time.
I recommend printing these cards off on cardstock and laminating them. Then, provide students with an answer key sheet. This way they can be used over and over again.
All you have to do is set a time for 20 to 25 seconds. Place at card at a different spot in your room. Place one student at each card and start the timer. Once timer goes off the students will rotate from their original station and move the next card. You continue this until each student has answered all the cards.
This is a fun, fast pace review game that your students will love!
