Description

Are you looking for a versatile resource that will help your students practice and improve their skills with finding volume? These rigorous, holly-themed Task Cards will do the trick! The Scavenger Hunt will make your students smile, and you'll love how easy and versatile they are to use!

These Task Cards feature a holiday riddle, and the solutions to the volume problems spell the answer. Students will enjoy solving the problems and answering the riddle! There are even decoy cards which don't help students solve the riddle, making the challenge a little higher!

This resource includes full color, printable Task Cards, ink-saving black-and-white Task Cards, Google Slides Task Cards and an EASEL Activity! Simply choose the format that is right for you - then print, cut and teach (and if you laminate, you can skip that step next year!) or assign through your district's LMS!

There are 12 task cards/Google Slides practicing volume tasks. The cards have a variety of problem types covering all 3 CCSS Volume Standards for fifth grade.

Problem types include:

-Cards showing figures built with unit cubes which ask students to find the volume

-Cards showing figures built with unit cubes, giving students the volume and asking them to find out how many cubes are missing
