Looking for a math game to reinforce numbers to 10 or numbers 10 to 20, a sponge activity when you have extra time, a way to differentiate, an easy rotation on a special day or a fun, yet still academic game in winter? Try this.
These bingo games have 12 different playing boards. Each board has the numerals 0-10 or 10-20 more than once. There is also a free space. There are teacher calling cards that you can cut out and use to call the numbers.
Students can get five in a row to win or you can play variations such as four corners, black out (first person to cover all the numbers), etc. Just print, cut and laminate the game boards and calling cards to play. Winter themed mini erasers or candy make a fun way to cover the numerals. If those aren’t handy, you can use counting cubes.
In addition, there are ten-frame calling cards for a variation. You can hold up the ten frame card or show it on a document camera. They have to count and then find the matching numeral on their board. Just remember you will need a couple sets made since the student boards repeat numbers. I only let the students cover one numeral at a time when they see it.
