The first two sheets are "cut out the squares and put them in their habitat" scissor skills work sheets. There are sixteen winter animals and snowflakes and the student will snip them out, and paste them on the first page. If they're more dexterous, they can clip them out inside the square as well.
Third are five objects with the name also to be traced, in all capital letters. The letters are a dotted font, for easy tracing, and large enough for little fingers.
On the fourth through sixth page is several sight words for the child to look through and recognize. We have had great success with cutting them out and laminating them and using them throughout the season.
Next is a counting sheet with a picture of several objects, and a line to write how many of each object the child found underneath.
The next page is a tracing sheet to practice writing left to right, helping more with pre-writing and pre-reading.
Next up is number order recognition. The students will write down the numbers before and after each number shown. This does NOT start at 1. The idea for this is to get them to understand numbers besides 1-10.
The last two pages are more tracing, because we love tracing here.
