24 different equation cards -12 each for missing addends and missing subtrahends (color)
Recording sheet (blackline)
2 different Part-Part-Whole work mat (color)

*All with a winter theme*

Print, laminate and cut the word problem cards and you are ready to go! You can keep all the cards at a center, separate them into addends and/or subtrahends, work them out during whole group lessons, small group RtI or individual center practice.

I print the work mat on card stock and either laminate or slip into a protective sleeve. Students can use manipulatives or dry erase markers to solve each problem. Then they write the equation and missing part on the recording sheet.

All cards have equations within 20 and meet CCSS 1.OA.D.8 Determine the unknown whole number in an addition or subtraction
equation relating three whole numbers.
